The RN1-Lot 2 and RN15-Lot 4 road projects in Cameroon, constructed by POWERCHINA, passed the final inspection on Sept 5.

The two road projects are located in central Cameroon and have a total length of approximately 121 kilometers. These roads form the most important transportation route for goods from the central region to the northern parts of the country and are a critical strategic component of Cameroon’s medium and long-term economic development plans.

Cameroon’s project acceptance committee conducted an on-site final inspection of the road projects. The inspection team expressed high satisfaction with the roads, the supporting schools and hospitals, the project maintenance, and the outstanding items from the provisional acceptance.

These road projects will strengthen connectivity between regions along the route, significantly improve employment rates, enhance travel conditions for residents, and drive the rapid economic development of towns and villages along the way, greatly contributing to local socio-economic development.
