The annual power generation of the Kamchay Hydropower Station in Cambodia, owned by POWERCHINA, exceeded 300 million kilowatt-hours on Sept 17, achieving 66.6 percent of its annual generation plan. Since the station began operating, it has generated over 5.5 billion kWh of electricity and has operated safely and stably for 4,628 days.

As a key component of Cambodia's national power grid, the Kamchay Hydropower Station plays a vital role in grid load balancing. Its steady, reliable supply of clean energy has made significant contributions to Cambodia's economic development and the provision of electricity to its citizens.

The station has received high praise from the national grid authorities and has received the highest rating for customer satisfaction from Cambodia's national power company for six consecutive years.

The region is currently still in its peak flood season, and POWERCHINA is staying focused on ensuring the safe and stable operation of the station and helping the local people to get through the flood season, while also taking full advantage of the abundant water to maximize power generation.
