The celebration for one million safe man-hours is held at the site of the project.

On Sept 12, POWERCHINA's team for the Hassyan Seawater Desalination EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) Project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) celebrated a significant milestone – 1 million safe man-hours.

The event was attended by representatives of the project owner, consortium partners, EPC contractors, and all subcontractors. The project owner commended POWERCHINA for its achievements in safety management. Safety management leaders from the owner and POWERCHINA delivered a "WORK AT HEIGHT" safety presentation in multiple languages, including Chinese, English, and Urdu.

The Hassyan Seawater Desalination EPC Project is the second large-scale desalination project to be carried out by POWERCHINA in the UAE, following the Abu Dhabi Taweelah Desalination Project. With a daily capacity of over 800,000 cubic meters, it will help meet Dubai's future residential water needs and is a critical local livelihood and political project.
