On Nov 4, POWERCHINA completed the asphalt paving of the FD Highway Project in North Macedonia, marking the completion of the project's main works, laying the foundation for the opening to traffic at the end of 2024.
Koce Trajanovski, acting director of Public Enterprise for State Roads, visited the site and praised POWERCHINA's performance. He encouraged POWERCHINA to continue performing at a high level in subsequent works, including slope protection modifications, guardrail installations, road marking, and high-slope netting.
The FD Highway Project spans approximately 10.2 kilometers and is located in southeastern North Macedonia. It serves as an important transportation corridor connecting the cities of Prilep and Kavadarci. The completion of this project will significantly alleviate traffic pressure on the existing A1 highway, improve travel conditions for local residents, and play a vital role in promoting the modernization of southeastern North Macedonia.
