The POWERCHINA Msalato New International Airport Project team recently received a certificate of appreciation from the Tanzania National Social Security Fund (NSSF). The award acknowledges POWERCHINA's contributions to human resource management, social security efforts, and Tanzanian social development.
The construction of the Msalato New International Airport's infrastructure is progressing steadily. Upon completion, the airport will significantly enhance the region's international aviation capacity and catalyze comprehensive upgrades to surrounding infrastructure and economic development.
From the project's outset, POWERCHINA established strict labor protection standards, ensuring all employees work in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment. It has also adhered rigorously to Tanzanian labor laws and social security regulations in employment contracts, work hours, and employee benefits, ensuring fair treatment for all project workers. These efforts have greatly improved local employee satisfaction and provided a solid foundation for the project's progress.
