The unveiling ceremony for the innovation and entrepreneurship base at the University of Souk Ahras in Algeria, built by POWERCHINA, took place on Nov 28. The Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the governor of Souk Ahras, and representatives from various sectors of government and business attended the ceremony.
The project was completed in 2023. It serves as a multifunctional hub integrating scientific innovation and research. Equipped with advanced facilities and resources, the base aims to promote the practical application of scientific achievements and foster collaboration between universities and enterprises.
During the ceremony, the minister highlighted that scientific innovation is a key driver of national development. The launch of the base will provide more opportunities for young talent in Algeria, inject new momentum into the country's technological advancement, and support the development of local education.
The commissioning of the base has further enhanced the brand influence of POWERCHINA in Algeria.
