Recently, POWERCHINA received the "2024 Best Commitment Award" during the Sarawak Construction Industry Excellence Awards Ceremony held in Sarawak, Malaysia.
This accolade, organized by the Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), recognizes outstanding contributions to Sarawak's infrastructure and economic development.
POWERCHINA, the only foreign enterprise to win the recognition, has demonstrated its exceptional performance in innovation, safety, and quality in construction and its long-term dedication to the region's development.
Since entering the Malaysian market in 1993, POWERCHINA has secured and undertaken over 150 major projects, including the Bakun Hydroelectric Plant, the Baleh Hydroelectric Project, and the Tanjung Kidurong Power Project – all in Sarawak.
