The Indonesian Pahae Julu Hydropower Station Project, constructed by POWERCHINA, recently received the owner's defect liability period confirmation letter. This marks the completion acceptance of the hydropower station, which will soon conduct its 72-hour full-load test.

The Pahae Julu Hydropower Station, located in Tapanuli Utara County, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, is a small-to-medium-sized hydropower project primarily focused on power generation, with a total installed capacity of 2 × 9 megawatts.

The station is expected to provide approximately 110 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, positively contributing to Indonesia's sustainable development and green energy goals.

During the project's implementation, POWERCHINA conducted valuable explorations on localization and logistics management issues. They also resolved technical challenges, including strengthening and grouting the fine-grained rock diversion tunnels and treating geothermal spring water during the tunnel excavation and plant foundation, accumulating experience for the planning and implementation of similar projects in the future.
