The Vietnam Huong Linh 4 Wind Power Plant.
The Vietnam Huong Linh 4 Wind Power Plant, constructed by POWERCHINA, recently achieved full-capacity grid connection, significantly supporting Vietnam's renewable energy development.
The wind power plant will deliver 90,000 megawatt-hours of clean electricity annually to Vietnam's national grid, meeting the annual electricity needs of approximately 48,000 local households.
It is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and other air pollutants by about 72,000 metric tons per year, transforming the region's wind resource potential into economic advantages. The project plays a vital role in maximizing the utilization of Vietnam's abundant wind energy resources while driving local economic growth and efficiency.
The project, located in the Huong Linh Commune, Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri Province, in Central Vietnam, has a total installed capacity of 30 megawatts. It features 10 EN-141/3.2 smart wind turbines from Envision Energy Co, three collector circuits, and a 110-kilovolt step-up substation.
Since the commencement of construction, POWERCHINA has overcome numerous challenges, efficiently completed turbine installation and grid connection testing, and achieved the full-capacity grid connection target, highlighting POWERCHINA's intelligence and strength.
