School No 2096 Peru Japon and School No 2100 Juan Velasco Alvarado, the first two schools of Package 1 of the Special Public Investment Project for Peru's Bicentennial, were handed over by POWERCHINA on Feb 11 and 14.

Located in Lima, School No 2096 and School No 2100 can accommodate 1,198 and 1,064 primary school students, respectively. POWERCHINA met key contractual targets within just 10 months. Strict control and optimization were applied at every stage, from foundation work and structural construction to interior finishing and equipment installation, ensuring the highest acceptance standards.

As the first two schools handed over under Package 1, they show improved campus infrastructure and incorporate modern educational concepts, providing a safer, more comfortable, and more intelligent learning environment for teachers and students.

The schools are equipped with computer labs, multifunctional classrooms, libraries, and modern sports facilities, creating a more diverse space for learning and activities. Smart whiteboards have been installed in classrooms to enhance teaching efficiency and student interaction.

The schools actively implemented green and eco-friendly principles in their construction. Solar panels were installed on rooftops to supply renewable energy, and a rainwater collection system was set up for irrigation, improving water resource utilization. Accessible pathways were also built to provide a safe and convenient environment for students with special needs, demonstrating a strong commitment to inclusivity and human-centered design.

The project has garnered high recognition from the Peruvian government, education authorities, and society, showcasing POWERCHINA's expertise and commitment to the international construction sector.
