Seven schools under Package 1 of the Peru Bicentennial Public Investment Special Project, constructed by POWERCHINA, opened on March 17 as public primary and secondary schools across Peru began their school year. Peruvian President Dina Boluarte attended the inauguration ceremony, joining students, parents, and representatives from various sectors to witness this historic moment.

In her speech, the president highly praised the project's achievements and expressed gratitude to POWERCHINA for its contributions. She stated that the modern campuses improve students' learning conditions and lay a solid groundwork for Peru's future talent cultivation.

The seven schools have a total construction area of 56,751 square meters and can accommodate 10,735 students. The campuses feature classrooms, science labs, multimedia rooms, libraries, multipurpose halls, sports fields, walkways, and parking areas, ensuring a well-rounded learning and extracurricular environment.

Package 1 of the Peru Bicentennial Public Investment Special Project is a key government initiative to promote educational equity and optimize resource allocation. It includes the construction of 14 modern schools, three of which are already in use.

POWERCHINA achieved this milestone with its extensive international project experience and exceptional construction management capabilities. It ensured the project’s high-quality execution and will continue to advance its handover.
