The Indonesia Sinar Mas Industrial Park Project, undertaken by POWERCHINA, has achieved a major milestone as the 33-kilovolt GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) system for the PM3 production line was successfully powered up on its first attempt.
This marks the entry of the power supply system into the comprehensive debugging stage, laying a solid foundation for the generating units' subsequent grid connections and the park's operational launch.
The Indonesia Sinar Mas Industrial Park is a comprehensive industrial zone invested in and developed by Sinar Mas Group, the country's largest forestry and paper enterprise. It is also one of the group's flagship projects.
POWERCHINA is responsible for constructing two production plants and covering multiple work scopes, including electrical, instrumentation, automation control, and non-standard tanks and boxes.
POWERCHINA has upheld high standards and strict requirements in project execution by studying construction specifications and requirements while formulating specialized execution plans. To address the various challenges encountered while executing the project, POWERCHINA established a dynamic tracking system to ensure construction went smoothly.
By collaborating with domestic equipment manufacturers and local Indonesian supervision consultants, POWERCHINA adapted Chinese technology to local standards.
