The full grid connection of the Huong Linh 4 Wind Power Plant, built by POWERCHINA, marked a landmark achievement. With an installed capacity of 30 MW, this project is set to deliver 90,000 MWh of clean electricity to Electricity of Vietnam each year.
This is sufficient to meet the annual energy needs of approximately 48,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by an estimated 72,000 metric tons, along with other pollutants. This transformation of local wind resources into economic benefits is a significant milestone.
Considering Vietnam's vulnerability to typhoons, the project incorporates turbine blades and tower structures with enhanced resistance to extreme weather conditions, ensuring safe and reliable operation. An intelligent hoisting control system that utilizes high-precision sensors and real-time monitoring technology has been implemented to facilitate stable blade installation in strong winds, significantly improving efficiency and safety.
A state-of-the-art intelligent monitoring and maintenance platform also enables unattended, continuous operation and remote fault prediction and maintenance, lowering operational costs.
From developing border trade to promoting infrastructure construction, and from strengthening industrial and supply chain cooperation to jointly advancing sustainable development, the practical cooperation between China and Vietnam continues to expand and deepen, with CHINAPOWER Power playing a pivotal role.
