On April 29, Peruvian Minister of Education Morgan Quero attended the inauguration ceremony of the General Prado School in Lima, constructed by POWERCHINA. He unveiled the school's plaque and praised the project's significant impact on the education system.

Quero emphasized that the new school addresses the shortage of educational facilities in the capital's central urban area, providing high-quality resources that elevate educational standards.

He commended POWERCHINA for its adherence to high standards, efficiency, and quality throughout the construction process and expressed gratitude for Chinese enterprises' contributions to Peru's education development.

The 22,944-square-meter school can accommodate 3,600 students and features teaching buildings, laboratories, a library, a multifunctional hall, a sports stadium, and administrative offices.

The design incorporates green, energy-saving features and modern teaching systems. POWERCHINA's team addressed challenges such as tight deadlines, ensuring the project's successful completion through scientific management and meticulous execution.

POWERCHINA plans to deepen its collaboration with Peru in infrastructure development and education, aiming to improve local livelihoods and strengthen Sino-Peruvian relations.
