A grand ceremony led by Madagascar's President Andry Rajoelina celebrated the completion of the Nosy Be road rehabilitation project.
President Rajoelina praised the exceptional construction quality and POWERCHINA's performance. He also drove along a newly completed section of the road, sharing his positive impressions and commendations on social media.
The project covers 39 kilometers and aims to enhance connectivity between the island's international airport, the city center of Hell-Ville, and the Andilana region.
POWERCHINA adhered to rigorous construction standards, rehabilitating and constructing approximately 70 kilometers of main roads on Nosy Be Island. This achievement connects the island's ring road, cutting travel time from two hours to just 30 minutes.
The project has improved local transportation, making travel easier for residents and tourists. This is expected to boost Nosy Be's tourism industry and have a positive impact on Madagascar's economic growth.
