On June 6, in Phnom Penh, POWERCHINA signed a contract with SPHP (Cambodia) CO for the Cambodia Pursat Hydropower Project Operation, Maintenance and Management Services.

The company has also contributed to infrastructure projects such as the Koh Pous Overpass Bridge, Sihanoukville Port Yard, and the Sleng Irrigation Project, boosting local socio-economic development. As of May this year, POWERCHINA has signed contracts for 160 projects in Cambodia.
