The inauguration ceremony was recently held for the 9 de Julio School, a part of the Peru Bicentennial School Program and built by POWERCHINA.

Dina Boluarte Zegarra, President of Peru, presided over the opening of the new school. She highlighted the project as a significant milestone reflecting the government's dedication to enhancing livelihoods and ensuring educational equity, particularly benefiting the educational landscape in the Department of Junín.

President Dina Boluarte Zegarra toured the campus, inspecting classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and other educational facilities. She lauded the school's modern and human-centered construction achievements, praising POWERCHINA for its professionalism and commitment to quality.

The school spans a total area of 11,105 square meters, accommodating approximately 942 students and encompassing teaching buildings, administrative offices, libraries, multipurpose halls, sports fields, and more. It caters to the daily educational and extracurricular needs of students and teachers.

Employing a dual-phase construction approach, POWERCHINA ensures seamless teaching operations while advancing construction, guaranteeing uninterrupted educational activities. The school is poised to address local educational resource shortages and stands as a flagship collaboration project under the Belt and Road Initiative between China and Peru.

POWERCHINA's integration into local development, utilization of local labor, and efforts to boost employment have been instrumental in fostering community integration and have garnered high praise from the Peruvian government and various sectors of society.
