Madagascar's President Andry Rajoelina unveiled a monument at the completion ceremony of the Sainte-Marie Road Restoration Project on July 11.

President Rajoelina lauded POWERCHINA for its exceptional design, effective budget management, and timely, top-notch project delivery as per the contract terms.

President Rajoelina said that POWERCHINA's 89-kilometer construction project has improved transportation for Sainte-Marie residents and boosted agricultural and tourism growth, underscoring the company's remarkable performance and commitment.

Situated on Sainte-Marie Island in Madagascar's northeastern Analanjirofo region, the Sainte-Marie Road Project stands as a beacon for this renowned tourist destination.

The project's implementation generated close to 1,000 jobs, fostering the local construction materials industry and maritime transport between Sainte-Marie Island and the mainland. This development has elevated economic prosperity and living standards in the region.
