POWERCHINA overseas project wins MUSE Design Awards

POWERCHINA's project in Saudi Arabia wins national design awards.

The Saudi Aramco Master Gas System Phase III Project, constructed by POWERCHINA, recently received the gold award at the MUSE Design Awards, a prestigious award within the international design community, highlighting POWERCHINA's strong competitiveness and brand value in the global market.

As a key energy initiative under Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030", Its construction included 10 gas compressor units (six medium-pressure, two high-pressure, and two boosters), eight trains of black powder filters, 10 air cooler trains, and a 98-meter-high flare system, meeting the core needs of Saudi energy supply. Construction also included auxiliary facilities, such as two dormitory buildings, along with water supply, drainage, and fire protection totaling 5,526 square meters.

Using the world's leading H-class heavy-duty gas turbine combined cycle technology, the project features a 25MW independent power supply system to achieve complete self-sufficiency in industrial energy. The equipment is fully adapted to extreme environments, such as high temperatures, high pressure, and heavy loads, ensuring long-term, stable operation.

It is also equipped with advanced technologies, such as real-time remote control and digital twins, enabling continuous gas transmission without interruption. In addition to reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions, the project's operational reliability and safety have been elevated to an internationally leading level.

The MUSE Design Awards were established in 2015 and are one of the most influential international honors in the global creative design field. Hosted by the International Awards Association, these awards have a longstanding history and significant impact, recognized for their rigorous evaluation process and high standards of judgment. Their mission is to push boundaries, encourage innovation, and advance the global design industry.
