Kenyan President William Ruto visited Kitui County on Nov 13 to inspect the Tulia Road Project, which is being constructed by POWERCHINA, and presided over its groundbreaking ceremony.

The Tulia Road Project is a key part of Kenya's transportation infrastructure development, classified as an international Class A trunk road, with a total length of 33.77 kilometers. Its main scope includes the construction of asphalt concrete pavements, cross-river bridges, and drainage systems.

The highway is expected to improve transport conditions in Kitui and its surrounding areas, enhance regional connectivity, facilitate trade, improve livelihoods, and drive socio-economic development.

POWERCHINA will continue to prioritize high-quality project delivery, aiming to make this another landmark in China-Kenya cooperation, and contribute its strength to the realization of Kenya's national development strategy and the promotion of regional economic prosperity.
