POWERCHINA delivers two schools in package eight of the Peru Bicentennial School Program.
Telesforo School and Vilcapaza School, two schools under Package 8 of Peru's Bicentennial School Program constructed by POWERCHINA, have recently been inaugurated.
The inauguration marks another significant milestone for POWERCHINA in advancing educational infrastructure in Peru's Puno region, contributing to the upgrade of local education resources and community development.
Telesforo School, put into use on Nov 27, covers 7,178 square meters and includes teaching buildings, multi-purpose classrooms, and an indoor gymnasium. The school can accommodate up to 870 students, providing improved access to education for surrounding communities.
The project team strictly honored its contractual commitments, upheld rigorous standards for quality and safety, and efficiently advanced construction to ensure on-time delivery and reliable operational performance.
The schools are expected to upgrade local educational resources and boost community development.
Vilcapaza School, inaugurated on Dec 12, covers 9,668 square meters and is equipped with modern teaching facilities, including computer rooms, practical laboratories, biology labs, and indoor and outdoor sports fields, with a capacity for 1,124 students.
During construction, the project team considered local climate conditions and teaching needs to optimize the school's architectural structure, lighting design, and functional layout. These efforts have further improved regional educational facilities and earned widespread praise from teachers, students, and local residents.
The inauguration of these two schools demonstrates the project team's strong organizational and coordination capabilities.
