The UAE Abu Dhabi PV3 Al Ajban 1.5GWac Photovoltaic Project adopts robots to install photovoltaic panels.
The robotic first panel installation ceremony was held on Jan 15 at POWERCHINA's UAE Abu Dhabi PV3 Al Ajban 1.5GWac Photovoltaic Project. This marked the start of the project's large-scale component installation phase and achieved the first application of China's intelligent construction technology in large-scale photovoltaic project construction in the Middle East.
At the construction site, all representatives observed the robot's installation operations. The robotic arm precisely picked up the photovoltaic modules and steadily placed them onto the racks. The entire process was smooth and efficient, fully demonstrating the technical advantages of intelligent construction.
The promotion and application of this technology will play a demonstrative role in the project's construction, providing support for further enhancing engineering construction capabilities, optimizing construction organization, and reducing overall project costs.
