The 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) was held from Jan 13 to 15 in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. POWERCHINA was invited to participate in the opening ceremony as a partner of this year's ADSW.
POWERCHINA's promotional video for the UAE was screened at the ADSW opening ceremony and the Zayed Sustainability Awards ceremony, showcasing the company's comprehensive strengths and international development achievements in new energy, water resources, and infrastructure, further enhancing POWERCHINA's global brand influence.
During the event, POWERCHINA also held discussions and exchanges with clients and partners, including Emirates Water and Electricity Company（EWEC）, Electricite de France, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company（EDF）, Sungrow, Huawei Digital Power, and Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co.
ADSW, initiated by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company in 2008, is the largest and most influential international renewable energy and sustainable development event in the Middle East and North Africa region.
State leaders, policymakers, industry-leading enterprises, and technical experts gathered to discuss energy transition, climate action, and net-zero development paths, jointly advancing global sustainable development.
In recent years, POWERCHINA has deepened its involvement in the UAE's renewable energy market, supporting the local energy structure transformation and green, low-carbon development, providing strong support for the UAE in achieving its "2050 Energy Strategy" goals.
