The Ivovik Wind Farm Project is recognized for its contribution to regional energy transition.

POWERCHINA's Ivovik Wind Farm Project was awarded the 2026 Wind Energy Star at the Sarajevo Energy Forum 2026 in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting the project's outstanding performance in wind power development, construction, and operation, as well as its role in the regional energy transition. This also makes POWERCHINA the first Chinese enterprise to receive this honor.

This award reaffirms the project's significance to regional energy transition and underscores its exemplary value and industry recognition in green energy development. POWERCHINA will remain committed to green and sustainable development, continuously enhancing operational standards to contribute to regional energy security and green growth.

The Sarajevo Energy Forum is one of the most influential platforms for energy industry exchange in the Balkans, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Each year, it brings together leading global experts and companies to discuss the future of the Western Balkans' energy transition.

The Wind Energy Star Award was established by the forum's organizing committee to recognize exceptional projects and companies that serve as exemplary models in the wind power sector, optimize energy structures, and drive the transition toward a green, low-carbon future.
