POWERCHINA completes Mulenvos's first comprehensive school.

The Mulenvos Community School Project, donated by Sonangol Integrated Logistics Services and constructed by POWERCHINA, held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 9 in Luanda Province, Angola.

During the ceremony, Sebastiao Gaspar Martins, president of Sonangol, handed over the school keys to Euclides Joaquim Faria da Costa, the municipal administrator of Mulenvos, symbolizing the project's completion and handover.

In his speech, Luis Manuel da Fonseca Nunes, the governor of Luanda Province, stated that the new school will further expand the reach of local educational resources, providing the youth of Mulenvos with a higher-quality learning environment and better development opportunities.

As the first comprehensive school in Mulenvos, the facility covers a total construction area of 1,331.6 square meters and features a teaching building with 20 classrooms, an administrative office building, and a multi-purpose sports field spanning approximately 510 square meters.

It also includes auxiliary facilities such as a security post and a first-aid room. Once operational, the school can accommodate around 500 students, improving local teaching conditions and boosting educational service capacity.

POWERCHINA has a long history of deep involvement in Angola, participating in the nation's public infrastructure. It has constructed a wide range of facilities, including schools, hospitals, libraries, and stadiums.
