The BM1 production line is put into production.
The BM1 high-end white cardboard production line of the Sinar Mas IKK Industrial Park Paper Mill Project in Indonesia, constructed by POWERCHINA, has completed its first run, marking the project's entry into full production.
POWERCHINA's project team overcame numerous technical challenges by conducting in-depth research into papermaking processes, introducing advanced technology and equipment, and implementing meticulous planning and rigorous management.
The paper machine operated stably during the commissioning and trial phase, with the BM1 main unit, ground calcium carbonate (GCC) preparation, wood handling plant (WHP), and electrical equipment in the pulping workshop all functioning normally, with accurate instrumental readings.
This production line is characterized by its cutting-edge technology and massive scale. The net paper width is 8,460 mm, with a design speed of 1,450 meters per minute. The daily production capacity is 3,400 metric tons, and the annual production capacity is approximately 1.2 million tons.
The commencement of full operations not only highlights POWERCHINA's technical prowess and project management excellence but also showcases the project team's commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative, further strengthening POWERCHINA's premium brand image in the Indonesian market.
