
The E75 Railway Section Czyżew - Białystok Project in Poland wins Polish golden construction awards.
The 75th anniversary of the Białystok Branch of the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians (PZITB) and the 24th edition of the "Outstanding Construction of 2021–2024" Competition for Northeastern Poland, were held on June 11.
Following competition among numerous projects and on-site inspections by the association, the E75 Railway Section Czyżew - Białystok Project in Poland, constructed by POWERCHINA, stood out for its excellent quality, safety standards, environmental protection measures, and modernized facilities, earning four gold statuettes of the year of 2021-2024 alongside two other projects.
The aforementioned honors are conferred as follows:
One Golden Statuette of the Construction Industry for 2021-2024, awarded by the Białystok Branch of PZITB to the E75 Railway Consortium;
Two Golden Construction Awards, presented by the Podlaskie Voivodeship Provincial Government;
One Golden Construction Award, presented by the Białystok Municipal Government.
The E75 Railway Section Czyżew - Białystok Project marked the first time a Chinese enterprise has secured an EU cash-funded railway project through open bidding, the upgrading and renovation of which has shortened travel time between Białystok and Warsaw and bolstered the development of bulk cargo transportation, with newly built infrastructure ensuring passenger safety and modernized information systems offering greater convenience to commuters.
Founded in 1948, the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians is one of the most authoritative and long-standing professional organizations in the Polish construction industry. Organized by the Białystok Branch, the "2021–2024 Outstanding Construction Awards for Northeastern Poland" aims to recognize exceptional engineering contractors and completed projects in the region.
