The Solar Palmira III Project is POWERCHINA's first completed solar plant in Colombia.
The Solar Palmira III Project in Colombia, constructed by POWERCHINA, received its final acceptance certificate on June 30 from the owner, Celsia Colombia S.A. E.S.P., marking the completion of EPC construction and two years of operations and maintenance (O&M), making it POWERCHINA's first delivered solar power plant in Colombia.
Developed under a standardized EPC model, the project features a capacity of 9.9 MWac and 12.56 MWdc. Throughout the construction and O&M phases, the on-site team remained committed to high standards of execution.
With their robust technical expertise, highly efficient management, and meticulous O&M services, the team ensured the stable operation of plant equipment and met all power generation targets. The project also passed multiple rounds of inspections by the owner, completed all acceptance procedures, and secured the final acceptance certificate on schedule.
The completion of the Solar Palmira III Project not only provides POWERCHINA with valuable, hands-on experience in project development, engineering execution, and long-term O&M tailored to the local Colombian market, but also elevates its brand reputation in the global renewable energy sector.
This milestone further solidifies the company's competitive edge in the Latin American clean energy market, building a solid foundation for future partnerships and the expansion of regional green energy initiatives, such as solar and wind power.
