POWERCHINA has signed a commercial contract for the Bogotá El Campín Stadium project with Colombia's Sencia.
Located in Bogotá, Colombia's capital, the El Campín Stadium is a national landmark and a comprehensive public cultural and sports facility. The project scope encompasses the design, equipment supply, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover of a 50,000-seat stadium, a multi-story parking garage, and municipal planning engineering.
Once completed, the project will enhance Colombia's capacity to host international sports events, large-scale cultural performances, and mass public activities. It will also fill gaps in the capital's public services, helping Bogotá build a top-tier reputation as a Latin American hub for culture, sports, and tourism.
This project, significant for improving local livelihoods and promoting urban renewal and development, is currently the largest sports facility undertaking secured by POWERCHINA in the Americas region.
