Jharsuguda 4X600MW Thermal Power Plant is located in Jharsuguda, Odisa state. In 2006, the EPC contract was signed by Vedanta Group and POWERCHINA SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. On 31 January 2011, 4 units of the project were handed over to the client successfully. This project was rewarded the Highest Safety Award by the National Safety Council of India in 2009.
