Noor Ⅱ & Ⅲ Solar Projects are located in Noor Solar Power Park, Warzazate, Southeast of Morocco. The contract value of NoorⅡ & Ⅲ Solar Projects is 500 billion US dollar and 400 billion US dollar respectively. On January 10th and August 16th of 2018, Noor Ⅱ & Ⅲ Solar Projects succeeded to connect to the grid successively. Noor Ⅱ & Ⅲ Solar Projects were constructed by the consortium of POWERCHINA SEPCOIII and SENER through EPC+OM general contracting.
The installed capacity of Noor Ⅱ Solar Project is 200MW, using parabolic trough solar thermal power generation technology; the installed capacity of Noor Ⅲ Solar Project is 150MW, which is currently the largest pained tower solar thermal power project in the world, using tower solar thermal power generation technology. With Noor Ⅰ Solar Project of installed capacity of 160MW under construction, Noor Solar Power Park is now the world's largest solar thermal power project. In 2018, SEPCOIII was awarded "CSPPLAZA AWARDS 2018".
