The project of Kinshasa Central Hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is built in response to the cooperation framework agreement between China and Democratic Republic of the Congo, funded by the DRC government, financed by the Export-Import Bank of China, and constructed by POWERCHINA. The project started on May 2nd, 2009 and the warranty ended in July 2014. The central hospital is 98000 square meters, with a green area of 30000 square meters and a total construction area of 40000 square meters. The total height of the main building is 23.6 meters, with 5 floors above ground.
Kinshasa Central Hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the largest modern hospital in Central Africa. The functional layout of each department of the hospital is reasonably arranged and meets the requirements of Chinese first-class hospitals. The high-grade office furniture and advanced medical equipment are equipped. New office buildings, rehabilitation centers, power centers, sewage treatment stations, fire pump rooms, swimming pools and other single projects have been built. The main building of the hospital is divided into inpatient department, operation department, radiology department, emergency department, outpatient department, pathological examination, experimental laboratory area and so on. The hospital has 420 beds.
